Night is a novel written by Elie Wiesel, a holocaust survivor who is reminiscing about his expiriences in the concentration camps. It touches various themes including, quest for freedom, ambition, and the power of the human spirit. Elie, the narrator is very ambitious and never lets himself down, he sees the people suffering and even dying all around him and he manages to stay positive. He believes that one day it will all be gone. He is right, the day that the US troops take over the concentration camps and let them free, is the happiest day of his life. He is finally able to search for his family, and although some are gone, he is happy to see his sisters, who were lucky enough to survive the expirience.
Why do people have such bad hearts that they decide to kill a whole race just because??
Do you think something similar to this can happen again??

Bad hearts can only come from a past hatred, such as the creator of the holocaust; his hatred for Jews was so immense that it drove him to such extremities, but even though so much hatred is gathered, no-one should have the heart to kill that many people, that many innocent lives.
Though it is difficult for someone to once again have that much power, anything is possible, history has the tendency of repeating itself, no matter how much we try to avoid it.
