THe SHaDoW oF THe WiND
The story has been very interesting so far, a young boy wakes up crying one morning due to the fear of not remembering his mother's face, his father then takes him to the cementary of forgotten books there is thousand of books and Daniel has the opportunity to chose one that he would like for himself. He looks for about half an hour and then decides on a book that seems isolated in one corner, "The Shadow of the Wind." He begins to read that afternoon and he can't seem to put the book down. He reads all night, the next day he asked his father if he knew anything about the book and the author and his father said he didn't but he knew someone who might. He went and met up with the guy his father had talked to him about and after examing the book the man tries to buy it from him but Daniel refuses. They agree to meet the next day so that Daniel can get more information about the book, but the man states that he MUST bring the book along, do you think that the man is trying to trick Daniel so that he can take the book? If so, what is so important about the book?

I would think that he is, the book is a mystery it self, and him having the book, and people wanting it puts Daniel into difficult positions where he may get tricked. The man makes it clear that he wants to know all about the book, and has already offered money for it. When one wants to figure out a mystery, it becomes first priority, so the book has now become first prority to all, meaning its importance is over everything.
